Insert excel file in word document

In this article we will see steps for inserting/embedding excel file in word document.

Step 1 : Open word file.

Step 2. Click on Insert tab in word document.

Step 3. Click on object icon as shown in below image:

step 4. Now a pop up screen will appear. Select checkbox ‘Display as icon’ and select the excel file by clicking on browse button.

Step 5. Click on OK button. Now excel file is embedded in word document. Excel file will be displayed as icon in word document. You can open excel file by double click
